전자음악 기반의 얼터네티브 팝 싱어송라이터 오희정 12번째 앨범의 이름은 “유령”이다.
꿈속이나 (공기중에 떠다니는 먼지처럼) 무의식 속 존재에 관한 이야기들이다.
특히나 많은 것들을 온라인에서 해결하고 사람들도 온라인으로 만나면서, 내가 만나는 것들이 실체가 없는 유령이 아닐까? 더욱 혼자가 되는 것은 아닐까? 내가 바로 유령인가? 싶기도 하다.
하지만 전혀 무섭지 않고 오히려 밤보다 낮에, 해가 쨍쨍할 때 출몰하며, 여행을 좋아하는 유령이다. 어쩔 땐 선명하고 단단하다가도 또 어쩔 땐 흐릿하고 약한 유령이기도 하다.
앨범 수록곡들은 오희정이 혼자 여행을 하며 보고 느낀 것들의 기록으로, 4곡의 영상작업 또한 여행지에서 찍어온 클립들로 만들어져, 음악과 함께 그 순간의 이미지를 함께 전달한다.
오희정만의 chill하고 몽환적인 무드는 여전하고 전보다 선명해진 보컬과 사운드로 가득찬 “I,m a ghost”은 본격 여행권장 오디오북이면서, 홀로 여행이 길어지면 오는 고독의 위험성을 알리는 앨범이다.
지금 있는 곳이 어디든, 발이 땅에 닿지 않아 떠돌고 있다고 생각하는 모든 유령들에게 바친다.

["I'm a Ghost"] is the 12th album by alternative pop singer-songwriter Oh Heejung, navigating through the ethereal like a ghost, gradually becoming transparent.

The album delves into stories surrounding existence in dreams or within the unconscious mind, much like floating particles in the air. With the prevalence of online interactions and meeting people virtually, the artist reflects on whether the encounters are with entities as intangible as ghosts. Isolation intensifies the questioning of self as a specter.

Despite these contemplations, the ghost portrayed is far from frightening. Instead, it emerges during daylight, preferring the brightness of the sun, and it is a traveler who enjoys journeys. Sometimes vivid and robust, at other times hazy and feeble, the ghost embodies various forms.
